Engagement session at Libby Hill Park

Let’s talk about this engagement at Libby Hill Park. This session was one of my first of the season and so much fun! I met with Dominique and Christian a little bit before lighting was at its best so I could make sure we took some time to chat and really get acquainted with each other. We chatted about all things wedding and really had a good time catching up.

There was such obvious chemistry between these two even though they swore they were so awkward when taking photos. My favorite saying is “when it feels awkward, just know that it looks good.” This was my first engagement session ever at Libby Hill Park and the scenery overlooking the water and city did not disappoint.

One thing I learned while chatting with these two was that Richmond VA was where their relationship began. Most date nights took place in Richmond, it’s truly where they fell in love. It’s only right that they take photos here to represent who they are as a couple, and I LOVE it.

These two were rockstars and super flexible when my pop-up changing tent decided to malfunction. I had originally brought it for somewhere to change but it was way more difficult than my husband made it look when he set it up, haha! So, these two changed in their car and their second outfit showed so much of their fun side of each of their personalities.

Wedding day with these two gems cannot come soon enough and I cannot wait to celebrate the beautiful day for a November wedding in Richmond!!
